May 10 is World Lupus Day

The theme for 2021 is "Make Lupus Visible" through a powerful, global, social media campaign on World Lupus Day that will show the many faces of lupus and the impact of the disease, and ultimately raise global awareness of lupus.

We encourage people with lupus to post a "selfie" image of themselves or video on their social media with text that says "I am 1 of the 5 MILLION people living with lupus..." and include a brief information about lupus, ask their followers to reshare the post, and close with the hashtag #MakeLupusVisible
